| Why join VOB? |
|
Many road races country wide, and especially the established and recognised events, require that you be a member of an ASA affiliated club.
But VOB offers you so much more than just the statutory race licence, both as a runner and individual - and you certainly don't have to live in Constantia.
We have members from every corner of the Peninsula (worldwide in fact), and actively support our athletes from previously disadvantaged communities by means of the Chairman's Fund and Development Committee.

| How to join: |
Come along to the club house which is at the Constantia Sports Centre.
Members gather there on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings to run and to socialise, and visitors are most welcome.
There will always be one or more committee members available who will gladly answer your questions.
Download a membership application form
and a ASA licence form
and return them to our club secretary.
Charlotte is at the Club from 17:30 to 18:00 on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and sometimes after the run which finishes at 19:00, or contact her on Tel: 761-8887.

The cost of Club membership is shown in the table below, and is reckoned from 1 January of each year.
Only VOB fees are decreased on a pro rata basis if you join later in the year.
The WPA fee, which is reckoned into the total cost, does not decrease on a pro-rate basis.
New WPA licenses are available from 1 October each year, and expire on 31 December of the following year.
