| Welcome to acsis VOB Running Club |
|---|
| As one of the county's foremost athletic clubs we welcome the novice runner, the social runner and the elite athlete. You will find a home where you can develop your running, enjoy great camaraderie and have fun. We share our club house with the False Bay Rugby Club, at the Constantia Sports Centre (map). Regular activities at the clubhouse include at least six different Club Runs per week catering for all levels of runner, as well as many socials. |
| A winter reverie | |
|---|---|
|
Well, the world cup has come and gone and South Africa is slowing settling back into a more normal routine after a month of festivities and celebrations.
Running in Cape Town has also hunkered down for the winter with the Knysna marathon over and a quiet few months ahead, until the big races return to the road running calendar.
But don't think that is an excuse to hole up! There is plenty of trail running and x-country happening as well as some beautiful out of town races that lend themselves to a quiet weekend away. So pull on those outdoor shoes and make the most of the beautiful winter days! The Webmaster |
